There are 39 levels to set the coarseness – from fine for espresso, medium for drip coffee and coarse for French press coffee. Especially convenient is the removable holder for porta-filter, which allows to grind directly into a porta filter of an espresso machine. Which grinding degree is suitable for which use (filter coffee, portafilter, espresso maker)?
Setting 1 - 10: extra-finely ground powder is recommended for automatic pump pressure espresso machines.
Setting 10 - 20: finely ground powder is suitable for filter coffee machines and for hand-brewed coffee.
Setting 20 - 30: medium ground powder is used for conventional automatic boiler espresso machines and espresso makers.
Setting 30 - 39: coarsly ground powder is suitable for piston pump coffee makers (""French Press"").

Does the precision scale also work with the portafilter? 
If the portafilter is in the holder, the function of the scale is switched off. Manual operation is available for grinding directly into the portafilter. As soon as the desired quantity is reached, the appliance can be switched off.

Which food can be ground with this appliance? 
With this coffee grinder you can grind coffee and espresso beans into powder. The conical burr grinder of this appliance processes the beans particularly gently up to the infinitely adjustable desired grinding degree. To ensure the quality of the ground coffee powder, only coffee and espresso beans must be processed in this appliance.
