The device in action - can be seen at:
Can the appliance be mounted to a wooden wall (wood cladding)? No, the radiator must not be mounted to a wooden wall. A minimum distance of 65 cm to all inflammable materials like textiles, wood, etc. must be observed. The distance to the baby must be at least 100 cm. The appliance must only be mounted firmly to a completely vertical wall, as fixing it to a sloped wall or ceiling may lead to heat accumulation inside the appliance.
When swaddling the baby, the adult gets more heat energy than the child. What can I do? The radiator is designed to heat the ambient air around the baby. The baby should not be exposed to direct heat to avoid possible overheating. The appliance is producing infrared heat so that 80 % of the heating power reaches the body directly. For this reason, the minimum distances must be kept absolutely.
Does the radiator turn of automatically? No, the radiator does not turn off automatically. Always turn the appliance on and off manually. Never use an external automatic switch-on (timer, etc.).
