Are the individual parts dishwasher-safe? The kneading container and the corresponding lid can occasionally be cleaned at a low temperature in the upper basket of the dishwasher. Please clean all other accessories (such as dough hook, press screw, fastening ring, pasta shape inserts, holders for the inserts, etc.) by hand, as the surfaces of the accessories can be attacked and damaged by the salts of the detergents in the dishwasher.
In the automatic program, the water is not added automatically. What can I do? For the appliance to function correctly, it is important that the water tank has been filled even before the program is selected. Then the individual steps must be carried out very quickly, otherwise the pasta machine will switch to standby mode and lose all settings. It is also important that the scale has been tared correctly. The pump can only deliver water automatically if the scales determine a value. If the scale does not recognize a weight, e. g. due to a waiting time that is too long or an incorrect taring, no water is added.
My noodles do have fringes. Is that normal? Light fringes in the noodles or a rough surface ensure that they can absorb the sauce better later. Pasta that is particularly smooth is an indicator of too much water in the dough. If the dough starts to clump a lot during the dispensing process, a little flour can be added through the filling opening during operation. The ratio of dry ingredients and liquid of course always plays an important role. If the dough crumbles or sticks too much, the mixing ratio of the ingredients is not correct.
How long is the pasta durable? Fresh pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a longer shelf life, pasta prepared without egg can be dried completely. Thus, they can be stored for up to a year if packaged airtight. Fresh egg pasta can be stored frozen. Do not defrost them before cooking, but put them into hot water directly.
