Whether odorant drip coffee, aromatic espresso with fine crema, cappuccino or tea – this coffee/espresso centre fulfils all wishes at its best and is perfect if a variety of coffee specialities is desired at home or in the office. Superior materials and first-class features ensure aromatic coffee treat. With the coffee maker up to 10 cups of drip coffee can be brewed in the glass jug. A shower jet provides for maximum flavour. The filter insert 1 x 4 with anti-drip system and a non-stick coated warming plate with automatic switch-off provide for convenient ease of use. The espresso maker whips espresso with fine, compact crema. Thanks to the powerful pump and the superior thermoblock ground beans as well as espresso/coffee pads can be processed to aromatic beverages. Via the detachable stainless steel nozzle hot milk foam can be made easily and hot water for tea can be obtained. The cup capacity is individually programmable. With the solid portafilter, 1 or 2 cups can be prepared depending on the filter insert. A replaceable water filter provides for good water quality. Water tank and drip pan are removable and thus easy to clean. The height-adjustable cup tray and the well-arranged operating panel with LED pilot lamps ensure convenient handling. How do you clean the appliance? 
Like for all portafilter coffee machines, a regular cleaning interval (deposits, coffee oil, lime residues) is necessary. The cleaning procedure for this appliance is described in detail in the instruction manual. It also includes the use of coffee oil solvents. Furthermore a fine cleaning pin is included in the delivery volume, with which also ceaning at some narrow spots is possible.

Is also an insert for E.S.E. pads also included? 
A special insert for pads is not included in the delivery volume and also is not necessary to prepare expresso. When using E.S.E expresso pads, a diameter of 44 mm has to be respected. Certainly a soft pad (diameter 68 - 70 mm) can be used to prepare coffee/expresso.

What is the brewing temperature for the coffee? 
The brewing water has a temperatur of approx. 85 °C.

How exactly do you make the milk froth? 
In order to frother milk, please take the following steps: Please take cold milk and choose the function for steam production. Immerse the hot water/steam nozzle in the milk and start frothing  in the upper third of the milk. Hold the little jug at slight angle and move it slightly up and dwn. Doing so, the nozzle must stay beyond the milk surface, otherwise the milk froth will get too large-pored.

Does the water filter has to be used in any case? 
No, it is not absolutely necessary but recommended.

What is the diameter of the sieves? 
The inner diameter of the filters is 52 mm.

Where is the water tank at the appliance?
The coffee machine EKS 3010 has two water tanks.You get to the left tank for filter-brewed coffee by folding up the lid above the tank.
Please pull out the right water tank for the portafilter to the front.
